Basic but clean and comfortable. We stayed here with our two dogs for one night en route to Italy. Great hotel for a one night stay with children. The owner was so happy and friendly and very welcoming.
Rooms were small but exactly what we wanted. Shower was lovely and hot and very powerful.

Used it for an overnight stay on a long drive from Northern Italy to
Paris. Had a really lovely and good value meal in the Restaurant when we
arrived. Breakfast was cheap and very good. Rooms were compact but ideal
for an overnight stay while travelling. Stall were very friendly even
though they could not speak english very well. Would recommend.

We only booked this hotel on line the evening before as a stop gap between Milan and Versailles. The Manager made us so welcome and the town was simply perfect that we ended up staying a second night and plan to return.

We booked based on reviews - seeking a lower cost hotel for a few nights in Aix les Bains to cycle Revard and other climbs. Hotel owner was very accomodating with bicycle storage and parking. Room was very comfortable and clean. Location was close to the centre of town.

Everything is perfect: the room - there are three bathrooms - is very big and confortable. The breakfast is magnificent and the warm pain au chocolat is really amazing. The hotel is closed to the city centre, where you can find a lot of restaurants.

The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Much appreciated being able to assemble and disassemble our bikes in a quiet room, and their storage of our bike bags for 2 weeks. Brilliant and peaceful location in town centre. Very clean, lovely décor, great breakfast. Can't recommend highly enough. -

The Bel Aube was in a good location just a short walk from the town centre but not so easy to find on arrival without sat nav. The facility was clean though a bit small but ideal for a short break, and free parking was a plus.
