Fantastic small hotel in a quiet area yet close to shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English. Roof top area with coffee, tea and chocolate is a lovely place to relax. Good selection of food on the breakfast buffet. Very good and reliable wifi. Would definitely stay here again if in Quito. -

I emailed to the hotel earlier that I would arrive late around midnight
due to late flight. They responded with one female and one male staff
waiting for me at reception at midnight. Even though the house does not
look that big from outside, surprisingly there are so many rooms
available; and still have space set up on each floor with a sitting area
for relax and reading. Breakfast was good and healthy with polite staff.

My husband and I both had a massage and jacuzzi which was fantastic. This is the best place to stay in Quito. The hot water bottles in the bed were a lovely touch.

Excellent staff, really took care of us. We had a late night flight back to the US and adhered to the 12:00 checkout time, we went to various sites but finally came back to the hotel about 5:00 to wait for an 8:00 pickup (arranged by the hotel) to go to the airport. The manager noticed us sitting there and gave us a suite to use until our pick up ( no charge). Breakfast was great and our suite was superb.

We had made reservations with Jenny at Casa Amarilla but had an emergency and needed to leave Ecqudor several days earlier than planned. I contacted Jenny about our problem and she had a room available for us. We did not arrive until just before twelve pm but Jenny was waiting for us and helped us get settled. The friendly, helpful staff, the charming rooms and good Quito city location. If you were young or like to party, lots of cafe-bars nearby for the nightlife. Nice lounge room available for reading (with variety of books) and/or TV. We loved the sunny country garden to see the flowers and watch the birdlife. Just a really nice hotel experience!
