  This was our second occasion this year staying at Kralovský Vinohrad and we requested the same room on this visit. It's an old characterful building in an excellent location less than 15 minutes from the city centre. It's informal and unfussy, with spacious accommodation, a good basic breakfast and close to nice restaurants and pubs. There are some housekeeping issues that do not meet so - Staff were very friendly and helpful, let us check in early and check out late. Luggage can be left if you want to do things before leaving the city. The hotel is very close to the metro making it easy to travel around Prague. From the outside and entrance hall, the hotel looked a bit outdated but as soon as we entered our room, it was amazing. Very close to pubs and nightclub which is great for young people, but also in a quiet area so good for families.

You can purchase metro tickets at reception desk and put them on your room bill. Tram stop at end of block. Subway is two blocks away (cash machine at Metro station). Other comments have said the breakfast wasn't good but we thought it was great, cereals, meats, cheese, bread, bacon, scrambled egg, drinks. Really useful to have fully equipped kitchen as eating out in Prague quite expensive especially if you are a family.
