  After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

  The room was amazing (de-luxe room) - even nicer in real life than the photos! And huge - spanning the whole of the 1st floor! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Over all a fantastic hotel that added to a fantastic weekend!
