  After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

I was bit concerned about the location before arriving to Prague but after my stay I would say, it is quite well located and public transport is really good to get to city centre, airport or main train station. Air conditioning which was needed in an attic room was great. Plus they just opened a top deck for eating with a view over Prague. A little refrig was perfect; Trams close by.

  The location was absolutely perfect for us -- about a 5 minute walk to the center square (where all the Christmas Markets are), but on a quiet street without any bars. The unit was beautiful and much bigger than we thought it would be. There was cable and strong internet wifi signal. The kitchen was full and we could not ask for anything more. Many places are ease accessible by foot and trams and busses are within walking distance from the hotel.We could walk to many of the tourist attractions.The staff are helpful and caring and nothing is too much effort. Excellent location, few minute walk from old town square. A good price for this location. Room was clean. We enjoyed our stay and this hotel is excellent for a few days stay!
