  The hotel owners mid-20's son greeted us in the parking lot. He arranged to take care of our parking pass. He helped carry some luggage.   I loved Apartments Familia for many reasons. The #1 reason were the owners Ankica and her husband. They picked us up at the bus station and helped us with our large suitcases - very hospitable and fun! Ankica was a great help to us by getting all the information on the ferries to the islands...greatly appreciated! I would definitely stay at Apartments Familia again and would strongly recommend it to any travelling t - Ankica was so welcoming, she answered all my correspondence, had her lovely husband collect us from the bus, gave us a bottle of her home made cherry brandy that was magnificent, and was available for any queries that we had. I have never been given such a welcoming anywhere else, she is a lovely lady and I would never hesitate in totally recommending Apartment Familia to any other travellers. Minutes to restaurants and a very short stroll to the beach and markets.

  Very spacious, with a balcony that looked out onto the Biokovo mountains - stunning. Easy access to beach and Makarska restaurants (we parked above the town opposite a school and a 10 minute walk). Parking can be very difficult in the town proper. Excellent WiFi and on site parking. It was well equipped for cooking.   We were 4 last year and spent 5 days in Makarska and these apartments. We enjoyed so much that we returned for a full week this year. We even convinced 8 other people, friends and family, to come with us. The result was the same, complete satisfaction for all of us. All our friends were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. Kitchens pro - We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment which was fully equipped with a large balcony. Apartment was extremely clean and close to local supermarket and sea. The owners hospitality was excellent. What a pleasant surprise to be welcomed with local drink and food. Josip was extremely friendly and informative.Nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to our next stay in this excellent apartment complex. It has our highest recommendation.
