The "club" category rooms have impressive view over the Bund
and the City, especially the spot scene of Pudong by night. All the
complimentary services are also quite good (permanent access to soft
drinks, some small food, etc.).
Swimming pool in floor 21 is a big plus, for both view and relax after the hot summer weather.

Номер и бассейн - perfect location; in the middle between Old Town and Nanjing Road. Close to Pudong. Many small shops and restaurants of different classes in the neighbourhood... - Cleanliness. Great butler and bell boy service. Reception can be improved if they are a little friendlier. Housekeeping is great.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It's not far from East Nanjing Road metro station. There is exchange machine in the lobby. The staff speak English and they are very friendly.
The room is cosy and has a bath, what is a really rare thing for China. I am sure that I will stay there every time I come to Shanghai.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the pedestrian street and public transport, but far enough to not get any noise from it. Lobby is grand, and the open restaurant is excellent, get the grilled salmon for lunch! Gym facilities and pool is fantastic, lots of space and good equipment. Excellent Location just off Nanjing East walking Street and easy 3 min to entrance to Metro (Peoples Square). Room is nothing flash but more than adequate for the price. was facing the street so a bit of street noise but you should expect that at this level of accommodation. Good breakfast selection. Plenty of restaurants in the area. -

The staff at the hotel were very good to me (father) and my 14 month old daughter who were travelling with my sister for for a few days, than on our own for a few more days. For the most part the facilities were very clean. Lobby and restaurant were very nice. Excellent location. I'd use this hotel again.

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.
