Hi Vancouver was in a perfect location for shopping and bars and there was plenty of nights organised by the hostel for example comedy nights, a night at the hockey. It was just what I needed for a quick solo trip to Vancouver. Simple, clean room, comfy bed, tv and a basic bathroom. Good value for money considering what I would have had to pay at a hotel. Also the central location made it easy for me to get around and walk to most of what I wanted to see.

I've stayed here before.
The shuttle driver was friendly.....one note for future customers....the shuttle won't pick you up until you call. The people at the desk were great too!
I LOVE the fact that WHITE SPOT is in this hotel! Couldn't have asked for better service!! (Or food!!)

It was remarkably quiet despite the location. Shops, Laundrette, buses
and train were fairly close, so easy to get around the city. The staff
were great, as they hadn't received the booking from letsbookhotel.com yet
they still sent the shuttle driver to collect us from the airport (it
was midnight), and they were totally booked out. While we were there a
cancellation came through and they gave us the room.

The main advantage of Riviera is location: right in the middle of Vancouver's beautiful downtown, 10 mins walk to Stanley park, 5 mins to waterfront, etc. Room are surprisingly spacious for a hotel and come with full kitchen (stove including). We prefer a studio to a one-bedroom, even if it is three of us: ventilation is better in studios, especially in the summer. The hotel is not new but the interior has been recently renovated. The hotel has a very central location. The room we had and all other facilities were very clean and the shared kitchen and appliances provided are really useful to have (e.g. stove, microwave). The location is very good and walking distance from "downtown" with quick access to shops, restaurants etc. I would certainly recommend this hotel!
