  The staff was outstanding. When we arrived it was warm for Vancouver. We decided to cancel our reservation and get a room with A/C. The manager was very understanding and offered us a larger room with more windows for the same price. We are so glad we stayed. The rooms are clean, and have everything we needed. The Johnson's - Sam at the front desk was wonderful! Smiling, calm and attentive. Upgraded us to a lovely, large room with plenty of windows. Admitted that parking was a challenge, and then found us a nice little spot on the grass. Kindly thought of restaurants we might like after asking our preferences. We never moved our car...walked to Stanley Park, all ends of the city, and finally at the restaurants close to the hotel. Lovely!

  staff were friendly and helpful location is great close to all the main attractions, most within walking distance, but a very quiet part of the city. we were in room 27, 1st floor opposite end from the hotel entrance. ok the hotel is somewhat dated, but ignore the old fashioned fixtures and fittings and you have a decent sized room, which was alwa... что говорят » ys kept clean, the bathroom, although small, was adequate, and again clean and tidy. the bed itself - big and comfortable-, and we had a ceiling fan w - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buchan Hotel. It is small, quaint and well kept. It's close proximity to Stanley Park was what initially caught our eye and we weren't disappointed. The staff was most accommodating...allowing us to check in early...(we had a very tired child with us) It is exactly as advertised...it's not your high- end, corporate hotel...so it suited us perfectly!! Some tranquility in the city! Thank all of you at the Buchan for a wonderful stay!!

  The place is family owned and operated. Very nice people. Very close to public transportation,and walking distance to many stores and places to eat. Sky train is about a 5 minute walk away. And you can take it straight into Vancouver for about 2.75$ each. Neighborhood felt safe and was clean.   A 3-floor hotel in the Downtown, just two blocks from the Skyline, within a walking distance to pretty everything in the centre. As many others have mentioned, construction works are going on on the two sides of the hotel but I did not find them extremely noisy or disturbing. I had a room with a shared bathroom and I was quite satisfied with that ... что говорят » option, as the bathroom was clean and I never had problems getting in. Breakfast is quite simple but sufficient. There is a computer and a printer tha - Location, Location, Location to downtown Vancouver, near Skytrains. Price is reasonable for a "boutique" hotel, given very convenient downtown location. The wifi is good, and password is not device limited (an otherwise pain at some other hotels which require you to ask for separate passwords for cell, laptop, tablet, ,,, and limit you to two). You should bring multiple plug extension with you. Breakfast lady is nice.

  This is my second stay at this hotel. I view hotels as a place to sleep and stick my stuff hopefully at a good bargain. Most of the time I travel, I spend little time in my rooms; either on business or personal travel. This place exceeds my expectations. It is clean, very cost effective and in a great location. The staff were friendly and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and soaps etc. There was a good supply of tea and coffee and you could top it up from reception where there was also a free coffee machine - great when you come in from a long day sightseeing. The locatin is ideal with the lovely Stanley Park within walking distance and the beach of English Bay we could watch the ship
