  The staff at the hotel and spa were outstanding. I have never received this level of service in my travels. They went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was enjoyable. We arrived late due to stormy weather. After getting checked in we went to the restaurant for snacks and drinks. They told us they normally close a few hours ago but they kept the kitchen and bar open for us and w - The staff at the hotel were excellent - they were super-friendly and very accommodating. I also loved that the hotel had bikes available for hotel guests for a very reasonable rate. I also really liked that the hotel had dvds available to guests to watch movies in their rooms at no additional charge. My partner and I had the continental breakfast on the first morning, which the kitchen staff put on a tray for us so that we could have breakfast in our rooms. The breakfast was very good - great c

  Excellent fitness facilities. Made use of the fitness classes along with gym. Locker room was clean and relaxing with available steam rooms and dry sauna. Location is 15mins from Niagara on the Lake and 15 mins to Niagara falls. Staff was very friendly and helpful.   We like to go to the Pillar-n-Post at least once a year from the USA. It has become our destination for our wedding anniversary celebration (this year makes 42 yrs.). It is very restful, serene,clean rooms and everything is nearby for shopping or eating or wine tasting!
