  The hotel is right on the beach. The rooms on that side have wonderfull views. At night i slept with the windows open to listen to the surf. Many of the staff spoke english, and were attentive to my questions. Recife is a beautiful town with lots to do and lots of history.   Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped my a lot with booking my trips and even getting a customized one as I had limited time to spend on the island. - Holiday was really nice, all people at the pousade are really nie and helpfull. wireless is now availible

  The owner is very kind and the bedding was clean. Towels were not changed but they put them outside to air. Have to pay for towels to take to the beach like everything has a price tag on the island.

  We liked the fact that we could walk out the gate and see the historic center of Olinda. It was so convenient. The staff were very good and several of them were able to give us good information in English. We were so busy that we did not have time to take advantage of the pool except to enjoy seeing it from the restaurant.   The staff was helpfull and friendly. The breaksfast is great, has lots of options. The Inn is close to the sea and has pool and bar. The location is good, you can walk 10 minutes to the village (and its very nice during day and night). The bed is comfortable and big. The bathroom and bedroom are big and clean.   Right from the start this was a great experience with a gracious, welcoming check-in process. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, good linens and towels, and a great view of Boa Viagem beach. It is not the cheapest place to stay but a great value for the quality provided. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Front desk staff were helpful. Rooms were good, I stayed twice. Not new and immaculate, but quite good. Elevators were having some glitches. The breakfast was quite good.
