  The hotel is about 100 m from the main street of the city and from there another 100 m to the main beach and the turtle park. It also offered free parking to us. The hotel is in a very safe area (generally Praia do Forte is safe) and someone can walk freely at any day or night time.   Pousada Ilha Verde is a very nice accomodation with a nice garden. The rooms are lovely and clean and we had a good time relaxing or cooling off at the pool. It was quite interesting seeing bananas grow as we just know them from the supermarket. The breakfast is served in a pavilion open to the garden, with brazilian food(cakes,fruits,juices etc) ... что говорят » Bread and cake was selfmade and everyday different food! We loved that and tried everything new! ;-) As so many places in Brazil you have to be carefu - the delicious breakfast, made fresh everyday; the comfortable bed; the friendly staff; chocolate the dog; the swimming pool and garden areas.
