What a wonderful backpackers, best so far in South America! We felt very safe and at home with Luis, Maria and their team of staff. Would highly recommend to others.
We got an appartment a few blocks from the hostel. It was nice and clean, though no internet as promised.
I was visiting Foz do Iguacu to see the falls, as most people are so
this place was great location-wise as the bus stop is right outside the
hostel. The staff were so helpful and kind and the breakfast is great!

Instead of a room at Katharina House, they gave us a very spacious apartment in a street nearby.
The hostel owner Luis was a slick salesman who tried to sell us an excursion to the Argentinian side of the falls for way too much money. Just take the local bus instead! He was also pushy and over-familiar.
I found it a little challenging to find decent, not expensive food
nearby but it wasn't too bad. The comfort could of been better but
overall it was okay for a night or two. One problem I found in general
was that it wasn't a very social place in comparison to most of
the other hostels but if that not what your looking for then this
place is great.
Apartment was along a noisy road and has not been cleaned during the three days we stayed there. Breakfast at this location was not ready on time so we had to hurry after breakfast for our tour.
