I was sceptical when reading the other reviews before booking this hotel, but all the praise they gave it was justified. This is a small oasis of peace in a city that is still ravaged by a war which ended 13 years ago. The restored bridge is a symbol of progress, but Mostar's real gem is this tiny museum/hotel where you are greeted as a genuine friend and where nothing is too much trouble. The owner of the establishment was really courteous- nothing was too much trouble. The room was exquisite, cool and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a lovely experience for it was served under a pergola weighed down with clusters of kiwi fruit. It made for a wonderful shady spot in the very strong early morning heat. The breakfast itself was hearty and included superb coffee.все обзоры »
A unique and historic building. A charming and VERY obliging host whose family connection to the property created an appreciation of the customs of previous generations. His museum is beautifully presented. Excellent position, parking available. The room was BEAUTIFUL. An priviledge to stay there. The host was amazingly helpful and he drove us to the train station in the morning. The breakfast, bed and bathroom was perfect as was the atmosphere in the museum house. I would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone travelling to Mostar.A truely historic building, in a historic and culturally interesting area. Wi-Fi is a huge benefit. Tadzudin was the best and most gracious host. We will definitly return in a spring or summer season. Owner and staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is contemplating a visit to Mostar. The central location made it very easy to walk to the various sites in the old town. The staff were really great, friendly and helpful, We were even driven to the train station at the end of our stay. An unusal place to stay, better than the normal hotel. Everything! A beautifull house, very comfortable beds, lovely rooms, superb welcome and service from the owner, one of the best places I have ever stayed in.Great stay in a fascinating house. Very kind and helpful owner made us both very welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone. Service was excellent and house was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The host was super friendly and very helpful.Absolutely extraordinary hotel. A perfect hotel room, and it is itself one of the top tourist attractions in the town. Staying in a National Monument was a bit special. The room was excellent as was the owner who was most hospitable. The host was very welcoming and couldn't do more - even drove us to the station for our train. Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, historical aspectsof the hotel. Everything is perpect. It must be real nice experience to staying this House. Atmosphere, professionalism, attention to detail, exclusiveness. Location, you feel as you are at home, kindness, property. We highly recomend Muslibegovic House in every way.Beautiful courtyard, romantic room, gracious host. personalized service in a historical house. everything...can't find better in mostar!. Friendliness and courtesy of the staff. evrything was excellent. Perfect. The owner of the hotel, Taj, is very happy to give a tour of the hotel, either on the day you arrive or the next morning. His family has owned the place for generations, and he takes much pride in the beautiful objects on display throughout the museum. It is a working museum, so people do show up for a tour of the home, which is 3 floors of most interesting objects of historical significance. Excellent location, you truly stay at a museum. Expecially considering the state of many of the surrounding houses, it is a pleasure that you stay at such a beautiful place. The owner was so kind as to drive us to the bus station and on the whole it was really great. No complaints whatsoever.Staying in a musuem was wonderful, and our room was beautiful, very well appointed. Very gracious owner gave us a personal tour of the musuem. Great breakfast. 5 minutes to old town area and many restaurants. The Owner of the Hotel/Museum was extremelly helpful. It was possibly one of the most unusual places I have stayed in my life and is the perfect alternative to run of the mill hotel-by-numbers.Very lovely surroundings and breakfast was great. The Owner was most obiging, nothing was too much trouble. Although didnt speak much English, he tried hard. Great location, easy walking distance into the old town. Room was nicely decorated, a little small but nice and clean. The fact that the owner and his family are so caring and enthusiastic. Also, it is quite different to most hotels so it is a rather special experience. Wow, what a charming place, an oassis in the city. Extremely quiet, very convenient, very clean and what wonderful hosts. What not to like!. Beautifully restored house and tastefully decorated. Wonderful host. Accessible to old town.personal touch. The Muslibegovic House was a highlight of our trip. It has great charm, and the proprietor is very enthusiastic and helpful.Beautiful set up of the hotel's rooms. Friendly and helpful host. This is a charming hotel, simple but very unique and memorable. The owner is friendly and welcoming, The breakfast was good.No noise, wonderful garden and a nice room and hostess, but his knowledge of english is not good. The house is beautiful and in a great location. Good location. There is nothing to dislike about this wonderful place. Our host was a lovely man, but communication was not always easy as we speak no Spanish or Bosnian. However this in a way, was part of the charm. lack of English speaking staff. We found the beds to be a bit hard, but could have been just our time on holiday, after 10 days. Breakfast lovely in the courtyard. Difficult to find in a car due to limited street signs. Not that it impacted on the enjoyment of my stay but the breakfast could have included some fresh fruit. It was impossible to read in our room as the lights were practically non existant.Lack of mirror in the bedroom. Simple directions on how to find it by car would be useful. Nescafe for breakfast!. Mostar is well worth a visit, but the old town and the hotel are difficult to get to. Perhaps directions should be given on the website. See earlier. We were not allowed to use the air-condition when leaving the room even if it was low and the temperature about 40degrees.Difficult to find. Poor sound insulation in annexe rooms.
