  We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation at the Hotel Amfora which met all our needs perfectly. The room was delightfully spacious with lovely decor. The accommodation has been newly built in a residential area as a B&B business in the countryside and is clean, comfortable and fit for purpose. Overall the facilities are very highly highly commended. - The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host Heidi & Dirk were superb and most welcoming. The breakfasts were wonderful and would keep us going for the day. We would definitely stay there again. Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.

  We stayed at this hotel for one night after visiting Brugge. We were a family of 6 with 4 kids and had enough room for everyone. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, as well as fresh bread and fresh squeezed orange juice. It was a new hotel and so everything looked great. The main beach is just a couple kilometers from the hotel. The kids also loved the Sea Life Aquarium and the Sand Sculpture Fest.

  A cosy small hotel. Very good to relax from the stress of the city. Very good service and a good and quiet breakfast. You can even sleep in because the breakfast can be taken until noon.   I liked that it was closed to the train station, and also within a short walk to the city center. Altough we went in november we could rent a bikecycle just down near to the hotel. Comparing to other hotel prices it was also cheaper wich was very help because Bruges very expensive city.
