  I live just across the road from the Zeemanshuis and booked a room while some renovation work was taking place in the house. I really enjoyed my stay! It was very interesting to see the variety of guests staying there, from tourists to sailors. I have heard that the hotel is due to be leveled and replaced with shops.   very nice elegant room with the newest television set. all luxuary facilities as towel robe ,sleepers ,extra fancy cushions etc. - The staff (gentleman) who took care of us on arrival was very, very nice and kind. The room was clean and tidy.
