1. Best location in Port Douglas in my opinion. Hard to appreciate on the map but right on beach and close to main restaurant and shopping row.

The staff were friendly and gave a full tour/explanation of the facilities and took us to our room on arrival. Food and drink available to order by the pool which made for a great relaxing stay. Awesome breakfast included. Love the no under 16yo rule and will be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Vue Apartments. Apartment was luxurious as was the amazing view of the 180 degree ocean and the mountains when we entered the apartment. The massage lady (Christine) was just lovely. Having a massage on the balcony of the apartment was a highlight of the trip. Just so relaxing and decadent. -

The hotel is located in beautifully landscaped grounds with access to numerous swimming pools and the beach. We had a ery spacious room with very comfortable beds.Excellent views over palm trees to Whitsunday Island from the large balcony. Very helpful and friendly staff despite being very busy. Excellent transport options to get around the island

discreetly located.
There is a fabulous free shuttle bus service which stops at the front entrance. The sea view rooms have the most spectacular view - waking up each morning looking out over the bay is an absolute joy!! Free wifi internet, available throughout the hotel and pool area, was a real bonus.

I personally can't say enough about this place. The lovely ladies at reception are so friendly and service with a smile. I was with my teenager daughter - I felt safe here. Everything we needed was close by. The staff are friendly. Woolworths is across the road. Loved it !!!! Will definitely be back (o: -

We had a superior ocean view room on 22nd floor. Excellent view but a bit windy so the balcony didn't get a lot of use. Apartment was excellent. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.
Staff were extremely helpful and attentive and sorted any minor problems we had.

The apartment was fantastic and very quiet. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!
