We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Probably one of the best Ibis Budget hotels in Australia. Super clean,
friendly staff and comfortable beds. Free parking and free tea and
coffee until 10pm. Great value for money option. -

I had spent three days hiking so was looking for a hotel room with a spa bath. The Heritage Hotel room was perfect. The comforts of the rooms, the beds and pillows were awesome. Clean rooms and great facilities in the rooms. Provided Great information to guests in rooms. Reception staff very friendly and highly recommended. Big plus to to gentlemen whom checked us in very rare to find good, friendly helpful service. Will defenitely book with you again and will recommend to family and friends

I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. -

An excellent accommodation and breakfast hospitality provider. Undercover parking a plus. Welcoming and courteous staff. The new dinner and lunch menu was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Bay.

I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to.
I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased. Thank you. -

The room was spacious with front and back doors. Back door led to grassed area beside Mehi River. 2 artesian spas and 1 swimming pool were just perfect for relaxing. We did not have to venture away to have the artesian experience. The restaurant was very good. The food was outstanding. The staff were also outstanding - we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem.

I made a wrong booking for a day too late and the hotel was full for the night, but the lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful and found me a room that someone else missed a flight for. She totally made my day.
Despite the plain look from the outside, the hotel was pretty cool on the inside.
My fault for not checking the maps, I thought it would be right next to the airport. I ended up having to take a taxi that cost $15 to the hotel.
Shuttlebus back to the airport is availab

Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

Good location, good price, nice and quiet. - despite the exterior of the hotel (that was not really gorgeous, to be honest), rooms and communal areas are very nice (and new!!)
