  The staff were outstanding.They operated as a really good team, nothing was too much trouble and they were a great sight for a weary traveller as I got there after a long flight.My not speaking Spanish was not a problem as they all spoke and understood English very well.They seemed to enjoy the challenge.   This small boutique hotel is beautiful inside (and discretely unassuming from the street). The rooms are spacious and well-lighted, with beautiful hardwood floors and patios. They arranged to have us met at the airport after our long flight. They recommended a nearby excellent restaurant - La Choza - for our evening meal. Magnolia is a charming, small property with more ambience than a large, chain hotel. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast provided as well.

  I loved the staff so much. They went above and beyond what staff do, even at upscale boutique hotels. They were personable and attentive, and just plain nice people. The owner was on hand and cared about your experience. The senior suite with outdoor soaking tub is also heaven.
