Really clean and even somewhat fancy for the hotel grade which is not a top one, which is quite rare with the most of US inns, especially in the area. Rooms featuring organic toiletries, everyday cleaning, nice furniture. grab-n-go breakfast was healthy and tasty. Another unusual thing for this hotel type was that nothing in the room was rusty or broken. Keep up!
The young man who was at the front desk at night wonderful! The older gentle man had some people skills to work on.

a little bit noise in the day do not change towels in my room for 4 days, i don't know why.....and no slippers provided. Since it is in SF, understandable expensive
The staff was very helpful, they refunded me one day of my reservation even if I did a mistake about the reservation. The location is quiet good, is not downtown anyway there’s a bike rental close to the hotel and several buses. I recommend Seaside Inn and for sure I will stay there again on my next visit to SF.

Rooms are a bit small, but perfect if you're using room for a good shower and bed. Parking is small, but never had a problem.

Value Late check in
I have been hotel hopping the past month and this is the best place I've stayed so far. The room had a "homey" feel and the bed was SOOOOO comfortable! Great place :)
The parking lot was a little tough to get out of.
Close to famous Lombard street. Yogi the owner was nice enough to let us stay only two nights on a 3 night reservation and gave me a credit for the 3rd night as we decided to stay only 2 nights in San Francisco instead of the original 3 we planned.

Excellent clean and large room, very comfortable beds. Staff very helpful if you needed anything or advice for transport around the city etc and help with tours. Very friendly people.
Front desk personnel very helpful. Office and rooms recently updated, very classy...all fixtures and furniture new and very comfortable. Has fridge and microwave, iron and board and hairdryer. Free parking on site. Free fresh continental breakfast.

I loved the location of the Hotel and the beds!
Although it said breakfast included, there was not much of a breakfast available. The room was a little small for 2 people with 2 big luggages.

We had a problem on arrival- the sink was blocked due to previous occupant cutting hair. The owners sorted it by calling a emergency plumber who fixed the problem. The young chap at reception was very helpful throughout our stay
Hotel is spotless; the manager, "Yogi", willing to help in any way (e.g. she got us a 3 liter water bottle instead of the 2 1 liters we were to receive for 3 days), personally carried my breakfast to our room (I was using a cane); breakfast is adequate with excellent coffee (I'm a coffee maven). Located near lots of good restaurants in the Marina District on Chestnut and Steiner streets.
For some reason, couldn't connect to internet, though it was free. Breakfast could have less packaged sweet breads and perhaps a yogurt or cheese item.

Great value for money with good sized room, very comfortable bed, very clean, helpful staff, modern decor, fridge and microwave in room. Little out of our desired location but bus stop one block away so easy to get to city, Fisherman;s Wharf, Chinatown, etc. Shuttle booked for our airport transportation and our luggage stored for the day. Would definitely stay again.
Had to negotiate stairs to first floor with luggage.
Outside was nicely maintained, inside modern and clean. Location perfect for visiting touristy areas near the wharf.

Excelent relation price/quality and value for money. The hotel is recent and therefore very nice accomodations. The employee who received us was very friendly and pleasant. It has free parking (though it has limited parking places, all guests had their cars and we know that for sure because the hotel was full, we arrived late and were able to park with no problem). It has a breakfast included in the price which is quite exclusive. It is modest but has fruit, croissant, tea, nice coffe, chocolate, etc etc etc. It was a very nice surprise and we surely recomend it!
