Second stay at an AmericInn this trip. Another good experience with helpful and friendly reception staff. Perkins restaurant next door was handy and had a bar! Rooms not as fresh as the Traverse City Inn but still clean and comfortable. Free hot drinks and nice seating area at reception made this feel more of an upmarket hotel rather than a motel

It was one of the nicest motels I've ever stayed in. It was very very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The night crew got my ipad working when I wasn't sure how to hookup to the Internet and the breakfast was great, kitchen very clean. Would I stay there again? Yes if I'm in that area it's the only place I would stay!

It was clear that the hotel was being upgraded and we were happy that our rooms were those already completed. The furnishings were new, carpet and bedding was new, and the rooms were very clean. We did not book directly through Best Western so when we arrived, we
discovered our room did not have a balcony but a patio instead. Told the
management of our displeasure and they moved us to the 3rd floor the
next day. We appreciated the accomodation. Once moved, we were very

We had to stay over in Detroit because of the weather and arrived late.The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed an exellent breakfast buffet with an omelet station. This is a very pleasant hotel. -

We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. We liked it so much were going to go back again next year. -

Clarion has the best pillows ever and plenty of them. Each bed came with 4 pillows on them, plenty for people who like extra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. I felt very comfortable and clean. Overall, the Clarion is a great value for the money. -

The room we had was just beautiful! It was decorated in log cabin style and that is my favorite! The staff was so nice and very helpful. The breakfast was decent and everyone got enough to eat every morning. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family! -
