  A fantastic resort, with rates that aren't punitive. The restaurant, with a terrace overlooking the lake, was first-class: a better porterhouse steak cannot be had. Breakfast was classic and generous. The room exemplified basic good taste: clean and neat with a modern walk-in shower that could accommodate two. To top things off, the proprietors were cordial; their help with di - Stunning location, with lake and docks on one side, and mountains on the other. No bedbugs. Charming cottage - style rooms, many with lake view. Reasonably priced, for a few dollars more than a cabin or campsite we got running water and heat. Good on-premises bar/restaurant. Convenient to Old Forge and Inlet, close to several trail heads.
