I was very surprised with this hotel after reading the reviews. The room
was very clean and comfortable. The area was fine; we walked home in the
dark late at night from a festival in downtown as two young females we
were worried from the reviews but we felt perfectly safe. -

Breakfast at Denny's was included (one can choose between 3 different dishes). Rooms were clean. Acoustic isolation towards other rooms was good! Clean room but carpet could be renewed in the future. The hotel staff are very nice, and professional and have very great postive attitudes here. I had a very pleasant exprience here I will never forget!! The place is very safe her with a security team that keeps the hotel safe and these security personal here have a big heart and great respect for all guest to stay here. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know who needs to travel to Las Vegas for a hotel like this that has high standards!!!

The room was very comfortable. The fridge was a great advantage and so was the complimentary coffee. The hotel is close to downtown Las Vegas and there is a good shuttle bus to the Strip, the bus to the airport stops at the corner of the street. It isn't one of the huge resort hotels where you have to wait 5 mins for an elevator, then wait while the elevator stops at every floor and you have 35 stories to go, to be followed by an incredibly long walk down a dark hallway to finally reach your room, only to discover that your key card doesn't work and you have all the way back to the front desk.

The staff is always so kind , parking is excellent and close and covered .Were locals and I'm a teamster we stay there all the time everthing is close gambling , dining , the pool and jacuzzi all fabulous believe it or not I've stayed in all the hotels and motels and we choose the clarion all around best and I mean it .there very reasonable and don't break your pockets .6 stars to me and my girl .for real thank you clarion see ya soon . From the moment I walked in to the reception the staff just smiled and was super-friendly. Got help when i neede to make phonecalls and I was able to do a very late check-out. Rooms were clean, pillows very comfortable and size of room was good.
I liked my stay and can def recommend this. It's cheap and has a good location- right across the stree

great value, i was so surprised at the cleanliness for the price. i have stayed in casino hotels before that were so dirty and cost more than this place.
check in was a breeze.
nice restaurant just out the front and a convenience store.
constant security, felt very safe.
no walking through smelly casino foyers to get to your hotel. great parking, easy walk or cab to the strip.

I loved the location. Valet parking was great and fast. Room were nice but a little small. The bed was not a true queen more like a full size. I am 5"4 and my feet hung off bed. But great for just wanting a place to crash after a night in vegas.

The complimentary breakfast was superb. The lobby looked magnificent, and the price was excellent for the quality of the service and for the quality of the room. Overall, the hotel was fantastic. -
cheap, really big room and well equipped, massive bed, own fridge, nothing to complain. Good location, just few mins walk to the strip!

The price was excellent for two adults staying two nights in Las Vegas!! We spent most of our time at the Mandalay Bay Resort where most of my family was gathered for my neice's wedding. Staying at Howard Johnson's allowed us to stay within our budget, and to be a 5 minute drive from the hotel where all of our events were. Very convenient. -
