We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated the insider tips on using a Munipass or finding a good place to eat. Excellent public transport to Fisherman's Wharf or city centre. It was also great value for money. - The staff were excellent: friendly and helpful and were able to give us great tips. The hotel was quiet and although the eating area for breakfast is small, there was never a problem finding somewhere to sit and eat. Having parking was also excellent.

  We were making a round trip of the US West and spending a weekend in SF (June 22 to 24). Slightly shocked with the hotel rates, we picked this one as it was more or less reasonably priced (still > 100 USD per night) and had free parking (evidently hard to find in SF) and WiFi.
