Were booked for Monday night but arrived, unexpectedly, a day early..in the middle of the night. They accommodated very nicely--giving a good rate and complimentary parking. Parking is very safe--a concern of ours in a downtown setting. A really great location: excellent for getting around especially downtown and for using the transit system. Woul

The Red Roof Inn is located in a beautiful place in downtown San Diego. The staff was very nice and helpful, and a place for all ages to stay in comfort.

The hotel was newly renovated and was very nice. The rooms are very spacious and very nicely upgraded. I was impressed with this travelodge. Staff was super friendly and helpful. -
The personnel was very kind, even though the cleaning lady was urging us the day we departure (about 30 min before the check-in)

It is very close to the airport (about 1mi) although driving from the
airport is about 2.5 miles. It is a quiet Old town location, but located
on the I-5, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure you get ear
plugs or make sure you get a front side room. We were there only for 2

Staff was friendly, parked our car very close to our room, likedvthe mini fridge, microwave and the breakfast included, it was more than I thought it would be (breakfast) and it was very convenient so that you got that out of the way and could start your day.
