We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet. Our room was across from the lifts and we never heard them once. Bouquets to Travis for making me the best mai tai cocktails I've ever tasted. -

Ilima is a gem! The decor is absolutely vintage Hawaiian.... wood, tile, wicker, tropical prints, original local artwork, and pink all over. We had room 1507 and had an amazing view of the canal and mountains. It was perfect to wake up to this every morning, with a very big balcony seating area to have coffee and tea. Simple, clean. Unit needs updating but it is sufficient. Nice to have
the washer/dryer as I worked out alot and it was great being able to
wash clothes. A half block away is the running path along the canal
which was excellent. The building is very secure and you have free
parking which is key in Waikiki as this can be very expensive. There are
plenty of markets and coffee shops around and the beach is 3 blocks
away. If you don't rent a car the buses all stop just around the
