personality of everyone its like A stay in A family hotel . the moment I arrived at 10:30 pm your bagman told me all I needed to know from then on it was heaven
rough surf
Amazing beach; great pool; best location
Hotel is a bit dated – the fan in our bathroom emitted a buzzing sound and needed replaced, one of the power outlets worked on and off; no restaurants or bars are open after 21:00
The hotel is lovely, nice rooms, comfy bed. They gave us a complimentary room upgrade for our honeymoon. They are renovating at the moment so I imagine it will be more modern look in the future. The pool and beach are fantastic and loved the pool bar. Cocktails delicious!
We were quite disappointed with the dining options. Even though they say they have 6 options, there is really only one restaurant and a supermarket/cafe open each night. And the food is pretty underwhelming. I strongly recommend driving for lunch and dinner to nearby waimea, waikoloa or kawaihae...best food of the whole trip! Wifi also terrible connection for $12 per day.
The facilities, the location and the amenities. Watching the sunset everyday was a big plus. Pools and beach access were spectacular. The Hotel was spectacular, and we would surely recommend to others visiting the Hawaii big island.
The Activities & Tour services (Sunshine Tours) representative (Zwaj) was very rude to us, did not provide any valuable advise on how to get to the Mauna Kea summit (told us there was no possibility for us to get there, but we kept searching on our own and found other tour operators offering the service). We almost missed out on a fantastic opportunity and had to go to the airport to seek tourist advise and help. This was definitely the biggest lowlight of our stay.
Everything
We liked the location on the beach, the breakfasts on the terrace, the open air ambiance of the hotel and friendly helpful staff.
The birds pecking your food if you left the table for a few moments
Great location with a fantastic beach side. Friendly and caring staff, Professional check-out that handled an issue very efficiently. We had a fabulous time at Hapuna Prince Hotel.
We played golf at the Hapuna Golf course. A fantastic course although green fee a bit high. To charge USD 55 for a set of clubs to rent is a bit stiff, just because they can as not many people would have brought clubs with them.
The view was fantastic. The beach was great.
The food is very expensive, and it's a long way to somewhere else.
Best beach ever
Little pricey for extras ( Internet , booze , dinner)
The pool and beach were phenomenal. Room was super luxurious and clean. The open air architecture of the hotel is stunning.
I wish it was a little more Eco-friendly with more organic food options. Dining options at hotel are very limited and overpriced.
Loved the resort. Absolutely beautiful with a beautiful sandy beach. Wonderful large luxurious room with ocean view.
Limited snorkel equipment available. Dining choices were limited and were very expensive. Driving distance of 20 minutes or more to other areas where dining and shopping were available.
Beautiful Pool and Beach
A bit isolated with only a few dining choices at the Hotel
Wonderful Beach and ocean view.Frendly staff. Not expensive caffe. Good restaurant
Lack traditonal Hawaii welcam (like others Resorts)
the situation, the spacious roon et the tranquility.
not enough restaurant a la carte for dinner.
We have come three times, like it all
Food could be better at Coast grill. Uneven quality
Quick access to the beach. Really quiet so great for relaxation.
Nothing in particular. It's a bit far from everything else but that can be a plus.
the beach
the location, no airport shuttle, no breakfast, no free wifi
Nice beach, nice gardens
Terrible value for money. No complimentary activities. Hotel is badly dated. Bathroom cabinets have wood peeling off. Not decently decorated in room and the whole hotel in general. Expensive buffets which are not great. Hotel is dead quiet and boring. Absolutely no value adds or reasons to return.
