Liked that the staff is American. No hard to understand foreign people to deal with. The property was VERY clean, nicely landscaped and in a very quiet location. Family oriented. Indoor/outdoor pools, ice machines in several locations, coin laundry and free WiFi. Rooms were very nicely decorated and well stocked with whatever you would need for a pleasant stay. My cousins were in from PA and we all booked at this hotel to spend time together. Had a wonderful time and would without a doubt .
todos opiniões » Oak Square was conveniently located in downtown Gatlinburg. It was on River Road, a block off of the main street, which made it a quiet resort and offered a bit more privacy, while still being within walking distance of all of the attractions and restaurants nearby. The king size bed was very comfortable. It was one of the nicest, quiet, and well equipped Condo I have ever stayed in--I will come back w a girl next time. I had one of the best Weekends I have ever had and I have stayed in some very nice places, much farther away. Daniel Braeuer. I loved that we were able to walk everywhere we went and i really like the peace and quite that we had there and they place that we stayed in was room 409 and it was beautiful.....Everything was wonderful there and will deffently be back. large rooom comfortable bed nice kitchenet good indoor room pool for cool weather good location of elevators ivery much liked being one block off of main street very cloce to several good resturants. The room was nicely furnished with what one needs, it is only 1 block from the main street in Gatlinburg so leave your car andwalk to town. It was very quiet and the staff was really friendly. I like that it is so convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. Also the rates are reasonable. I usually stay here when we do our trips to the mountains. Always have a good time here!. Very quiet, hated to leave. Real close by to town could walk or catch a trolley to get around, would book again. LOVED THE INDOOR SWIMMING POOL. Spacious unit; good bed; kitchen was stocked quite well. Everything clean. The location was excellent and the staff I encountered were extremely nice. everything was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Really enjoyed the design of the room. It felt like I was at home. Overall excellent experience. Definitely recommend. Location and overall very good. It just felt like home. Everything!. It was in a good peaceful location. Close to some tbings. Location.privacy. Close to town. Location. Price. Parking. Quiet. Location. Did not like that I was over charged by $70 for our room upon check-in. But when we confronted staff about it at check-out it was promptly and courteously refunded. Stayed 2 nights and never did have any maid service. But we did not need anything from them either. The room was nicely stocked with TP and towels. Our room was a bit dated, but was still very comfortable. The room could have been a little cleaner. The toaster oven had a foil lined tray that had not been cleaned (there was left over food stuck to it) and although the middle of the floors appeared freshly cleaned, the corners were full of dust and dirt. The kitchen was full of mismatched cups and silverware, in fact some of the silverware was really silver toned plastic utensils. There was not one thing that i didn't like about the place. Everything was wonderful.. bathroom could use a little sprucing up also needs a little more water pressure in shower. Had no pots or pans in the condo, but we got by, still had a good trip. Trash had not been discarded from the unit; prior renter. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was small. Can't think of anything that was bad. Hot tub was out and fireplace was to. The facilitiy's parking area is a little on the cramped side. It's a bit old with the decorations and with appliances. But I loved it overall. Nothing...it was perfect. My grand daughter & I slept on the couch bed. It was the worst one I've ever slept on. You could feel the metal. Did not meet expectations and was not equipped with full kitchenette. No cookware and had to ask for such but they delivered some. Dead bolt not working, safety latch on door broke. Bathtub jets not working. Fridge was unstable tear in toilet seat. Beds in room were awful! The hide a bed had the springs coming out of the mattress. The king bed was so worn out it was pitiful! The board under the kitchen sink was rotten and broke. Had to ake the trash can from under it to use it. The public bathroom was being repainted and the door knobs were laying in the floor even tho we saw no one working on it the 5 days we were there. First and last time staying there!. Desperate need of upgrade. Refrigerator needed to be defrosted. Needed more linens for bed and bath. Poor lighting. Get rid of the nasty pigeons. Room not clean, out-dated, bed not king & very uncomfortable. Cabinets facing was actually taped. Refrigerator not working properly. Dishes/coffee pot were dirty. Tub had mildew around nozzle. Lamp Shades were very dirty. Trash can was full upon entering room. Was still charged a $25 cleaning fee!!. The room was filthy with flooring coming up. No wood available for fireplace. No replacement towels. Called to get another blanket as the only one we had was filtjy, I left a voice mail and never got a call or a blanket. One employee a bit nasty when I found him. The other employee helpful when we lost something on pool area.
