  Ok, it's not the Ritz, but it wasn't Ritz pirces! We stayed there for 3 nights for less than 1 night at an upscale place! The room was clean, staff was responsive to our requests such as for extra pillows, there was a working fridge as well as a microwave, tv and Internet were good, and it was centrally located in downtown. Clean room and bath with comfy and clean bed. Room and bath heaters work. 793 TV channels. Parking right in front of door.

We love minature golf, and this course was great, even in the cold we enjoyed it. We are planning a fund get-a-way for our Grandson and combination is particularly great for that.   I liked the location. I am a family member of long time residents of Ft Bragg, mother, uncles, sister, neices & nephews. We have always stayed at Tradewinds because it accomidated many members of out of town family and the resturant was a plus. Always the place to stay when coming up for funerals, weddings, reunions etc. Now it is Motel 6 and I am hoping it will get spruced up on the - Close to 'Down Town' Fort Bragg. Next to Rite Aide (kinda handy) the bar in the hotel has a live DJ on Friday and Saturday, this seemed popular with locals but did not keep us up. It looked a lot better than the Travel Lodge down the street for the same price. If you are not staying in one of the fancy romantic B&B's then you could do a lot worse.
