  This is one of the cheapest locations I stayed in NY, where even the YMCA (where they treat you like a dog) charges 119 USD per night. For less than half that price this is a perfectly located, clean and efficient hostel with friendly staff. Only 2 blocks from Penn station and the air train to JFK! - The location was great & quiet. (Did not h... o que as pessoas dizem » ear street traffic, but of course heard the neighbors.) The staff were very friendly & helpful. Got help with my suitcase up/ down the narrow stairs. I got a towel & a clean one when asked for it.
