We like the beach-access although we swim in the infinity-pool or in the long pool of the Westin-Hotel. The - I liked everything. Starting from the staff at the reception, and their warm welcome, we were upgraded to a better room, after we arrived to the room, the staff called to welcome us and check that everything is ok. The pools are great and there is a lot of them. The kids pool has a big umbrella so kids can swim under the shade. The beach is open sea. There is a variety of top restaurants.   I fly to Dubai very often at average about every two weeks for business. For me the location is perfect since most of my work is within Sheikh Zayed rd., but apart from this the fact is the location is still very good. There are plenty of resturants, cofee ships, bars, Lounge, night club etc.. on this stretch. The hotel itself has a very good ope... o que as pessoas dizem » n air bar plus some decent resturants. Service, cleanliness etc.. are all very good. I've stayed in this hotel many times from the time it had intial - Booked a horizon deluxe room for two nights. Staff allowed us to check in early, however were reluctant to honour late (i.e. 6pm) check out that was advertised as part of the horizon package. We had to really push for this due to an early morning flight to Oz. Otherwise staff and facilities were first class. Would definitely stay there again, especially for breakfast which was outstanding.

During the cooler months you can walk to JBR Walk, which is only 10-15 minutes away, or you can take a stroll on the Marina Walk, which is just outside the hotel. Being connected with the Marina Mall there is plenty of shopping and dining facilities close by if you don't want to have your meals at the hotel.

  I stayed in the hotel on 26/9/2013. I had booked a deluxe room for the couple of us and our 7-month-old baby. We walked into the room, only to discover that we were upgraded to an executive suite without even informing us. It was a glorious surprise and the suite was really luxurious, comfortable, and offered a magnificent view from the 28th floor... o que as pessoas dizem » . For example, I found a kettle in the room with tea and coffee making facilities this time. The room service is fast and very efficient and the quality of food is excellent as always. The speed of the check in and check out formalities has improved greatly.

However I bought a 2 day Big Bus hop-on-hop-off Pass and the location proved to be excellent as the Banjuman Mall only 5 min walk from the hotel was a point where you could pickup both the Red Route and the Blue Route for the Big Bus.
