Helpful and friendly staff, very pleasant traditional English pub.We received a warm welcome to this family run inn, where everyone was courteous and helpful. The staff were welcoming and friendly and I was shown to my room personally, which was nice. The room itself was clean, tidy and very comfortable and the breakfast served the next day was tasty and fresh.Excellent, small, friendly hotel in charming Tetbury. Clean, well presented rooms in a converted barn beside small country pub just a few minutes walk to the village centre.

The comfortable relaxed atmosphere and the quiet seclusion. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and hot. Hotel evening meals good choice and value. I thought that the staff were very friendly, helpful and were keen to go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.Friendly staff and very understanding considering we made alot ofnoise at times. On a freezing evening, the room was as warm as toast on arrival. Excellent room for price. Super breakfast. Great location. friendiness of staff, good food, comfortable bed. Helpful staff, friendly atmosphere, good food. The food was good. Food and Drink. The staff were very friendly. They were fine with an early check in and a slightly later check out. Breakfast was between 8 am and 10 am on a weekend so we didn't have to get up really early! The accommodation is in an out building which was nice. It was very quiet too but still near the centre of Tetbury!. Couple of problems with the room (tv not working / radiator on full /lightswitch not working) were immediately dealt with when we told staff. The room was warm, clean and the tea tray was well supplied. The staff were friendly and we would happily return.very convenient, seperate building with own key, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. would stay there again. A good breakfast. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Quiet. Small, Quiet .Quaint and not too fussy. The breakfast was really well cooked. Peaceful- good breakfast. Good food. The rooms were spacious and the service was very friendly. The breakfasts were good and the room was comfortable. Friendly staff, very willing to help. A good nights sleep!. peaceful. outside grounds could do with tidying and sprucing up to live up to image of being an excellent place to stay. Sound proofing a little thin!. 10.30am is a little early for checking out!. breakfast was slightly limited. Not available when I wanted to check in and did not answer phone - a pre-arrival phone call could solve this. Worth the hassle. I felt that the garden was in desperate need of work. Having that facility would have made my 5 year-old son's stay more pleasurable. Some noise from upstair TV. The breakfast was fine, if a little dried out,but the service was quite slow.A lovely Inn but a little tatty and tired with a lot of rubbish etc in the courtyard adjacent to the accomodation. Could use a lick of paint and general clear up, would make all the difference. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner particularly the edges of the floor and the back of the door. The bug in the en-siute light shade was the only thing. The mattress creaked badly. The door to the bathroom needed oiling. Alsocreaked badly. The ventaxia in the bathroom was so noisy, that to get upin the night was extremely inconvenient for the person sleeping becauseyou couldn't help but wake up with all this noise. The whole site needed some care and attention - there were leads everywhere across the roof and through windows into the dining area. There was even a multi-plug extension resting by the window in an ice-bucket. couple of maintenance issues in terms of lighting and plumbing in the bathroom but nothing major.
