Instalações - Nice quiet location, but park and ride within walking distance of hotel so access to York centre very easy and cheap, £2 per person return. Win, Win all round. - staff really excellent - cheerful, helpful - nothing too much trouble

Upon arrival, we were met at the door by the owner Graham, after the
initial hellos and what have you, we were taken up to our room. It was
lovely, smelt nice and fresh and was very clean. Our bathroom was
situated just across the hall from us, and we found it very nice and
spacious. Lovely soft towels, and little extras. Graham was very
helpful,

The owners are so lovely and helpful, we arrived on one of the busiest weekends and Graham was able to give us tips and tricks about where to go and what to see, as well as advice for beating the crowds. We were treated to a history lesson as well as an extremely wonderful stay at the guesthouse. Breakfast was incredible, we could chose full breakfast and if we had any requests they would make it for us if they had the ingredients, this was organised the night before as well as the time we woul

Everything: the staff were very welcoming and so helpful: nothing was too much bother. The look of the hostel was more like that of a hotel than the stigma usually attached to hostels. The cooked breakfast was lovely, especially for the low price we paid for it. Also, the rooms were very well set out and in a very clean and tidy condition. Could n

Our first experience of a hostel ever & we have nothing but positive comments to give!! This is a hotel without the extras (I.e doesnt have a hairdryer/towels & a tv on the wall), other than that it does exactly what it says on the tin!! Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent value for money all round!!) Would definitely stay here again!
