The Wellington Arms in Sandhurst, Berkshire, is a traditional English pub with quiet rooms annexed from the main building, free Wi-Fi and home-cooked food. We had a lovely room, the facilities were what we required for an overnight stay. The cooked breakfast was excellent and service was friendly and relaxed. Overall the Wellington Arms suited our needs for a clean room to sleep in after a night at friends who lived across the road and was hosting a house warming party. The food and drink were superb. The pub was family friendly with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The landlord was always about and making sure everybody was satisfied. We were made to feel very welcome and Harry went out of his way to help sort any problems. We will definitely be returning next year.

Food very good and ideal location for the many businesses around the area. early breakfasts available on request. The room was clean and welcoming. Nice cotton sheets. Comfy twin beds Ground floor- so suitable for disabled people Well heated and lit. Good wardrobe and hanging space. A convienient stop over for a business trip to Sandhurst. Excellent breakfast, good accommodation and value for money and helpful friendly staff. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good beer and food. I would recommend this hotel / public house for a short stay. Friendly staff who can't do enough for you, home from home atmosphere, great food and good location for M3, M25. Friendly staff, good food, good ales, comfy bed. Biscuits with teamaker and fresh bottled water daily were very good and plenty of tea, coffee and hot choc. Supplied. The accomodation was adequate. For us there was nothing to dislike. You have to pay for your drinks as you go and wasn't able to set up a tab to pay at the end of stay. As a business traveler for me this is a downside as it causes complications with expenses. Slightly mouldy bathroom with noisy fan. Having to go outside to get to breakfast/inside the pub Forgetting we were needing an early breakfast on a Sunday. They were very apologetic. Room was a bit noisy. The road is quite busy during the evening and also my room was next to the beer garden... so people were outside talking until after 11. In addition, it was a hot day and I could not have the window open because of the noise but also because of the smokers outside my room!. Even as residents we couldn't get a late drink. We asked and eventually got a beer to bring to the room. Was told by the manager / owner that he had had a long day! We had driven over 600 miles over 2 countries and worked for 4 hours and been up since 5 am. We all have bad days, but if your in the hospitality game that's your business!.....otherwise nice place. London prices for beer Bathrooms and beds a little tired. A bit noisy because near main road. On arrival, even though chef still in kitchen, they would not even make me a sandwich. It was 10 mins after lunch time, service even for residents. The room wasn't up to scratch compared to other hotels. Smelled a bit moth bally, some damp on one wall, cracked bath panels, a couple of ill fitting bath tiles, loose/flaky paintwork. Small things that make a huge difference. It probably looked great when it was first decorated but owners need to keep an eye on these points today, not customers reporting it. For what it was it was expensive bearing in mind also that breakfast was extra. Slug trails in the bed room also ordered breakfast and no body turned up had to leave without. Would not recomend and would never stay again.
