A warm welcome on arrival, the bedroom and shower-room were fastidiously clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet, considering the location. An excellent night's sleep - unfortunately did not have time to sample the breakfast but, if the aroma was anything to go by, it would have been delicious!

Room was clean, fresh, and really comfortable. Hotel is ideally situated as there is a lot going on locally. We loved the garden centre and the steam train, they are both in the country park just around the corner from the hotel.

Very welcoming staff, keen to offer help as needed. We arrived early and the receptionist 're-jigged' the rooms so that we could leave our things and freshen up in one that was ready before meeting our friends.

Very friendly staff upon arrival, room is just as expected which is ideal at the end of travelling. My daughted loved the nice deep bath!! The breakfast at the attached Brewers Fayre is fantastic value for money! Would definitely recommend a stay.

Ticking the boxes as good seems a tad unfair, very good would be more apt, and, considering what a country inn can offer, compared to a top country manor house for example, it was excellent.
We were delighted with our stay and can recommend it.
Nearby Tenbury, whilst not the greatest tourist destination, does have at least three notable features.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was very comfortable with everything on hand. Ate in the restaurant the three nights we were there and the food was superb, as was the service. Very friendly owners who were knowledgable about the history and surrounding countryside, and always had time to talk to you.Breakfasts were excellent too and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in Room 6. Comfortable and warm, proper hair dryer, no noise in the night from the pub or other guests. Plenty of wardrobe space. Lovely cooked breakfast in with the very reasonable price. -
Staff are friendly and helpfull

The man in the restaurant in particular (think he was either Italian or Spanish) gave excellent service, his service alone would make me want to stay again. Even though they were clearly understaffed he was still extremely pleasant and his level of service was excellent!

What a chef!! Brilliant bar, relaxing comfortable hotel in a tranquil setting. Great communications for working and ample parking. Just the place to relax and unwind after a long busy day. Nice gardens to the rear, great charm and character tastefully decorated with air of the late 20's hovering in the atmosphere. All the trimmings for a good stay

Hotel staff were lovely. Food in restaurant was superb. Breakfast choice was excellent. Room was spacious. Hotel lounge and restaurant has been refurbished and they are completing the last floor of rooms shortly. We stayed in one of the classic rooms not yet refurbished, but was still very pleasant. Will definitely be back

very friendly and helpful staff. My TV decided not to work after about half an hour - when I reported it to reception, they immediately offered me an alternative room, very quickly and efficiently done. The room was quiet and appropriately heated. All facilities were good and a good powerfull shower! Plenty of choice for the continental breakfast - again the staff were friendly and efficient.

The manager, Chris Gilbert, was excellent. Great customer service, very friendly and remembered why we were staying there. His staff member on duty when we arrived was very good too sorting out food vouchers for the roadchef and other queries we had about the room. -
