Delicious breakfast, very nice hosts, very nice small room (twin beds) and stylish new bathroom. Everything is very very clean. The B&B is located in the countryside near Salisbury (so it's really quiet, wonderful!), by car just about 10 Minutes max. to the center of Salisbury.
Thus a car is useful, although there is a bus station not far away

Quite comfortable: the B&B is near Old Sarum and on the way to Stonehenge. We walked to Old Sarum, which was nice not to do everything by car.

We loved everything. Mandi was a gracious, generous, and caring hostess, excellent cook, and great housekeeper. Green Lane is conveniently located, yet in a great country setting. We liked being able to walk around the little village of Ford with its pretty houses in its quiet neighborhood and its location near a small airfield where we saw sky divers enjoying their outings. We were a family group of 10 adults and one 4year old child celebrating my wife`s 80th birthday and the staff looked after everyone with great care making this a most enjoyable weekend.

Unfortunately the best one can say about most hotels is that service was indifferent.. The Old Bell set the standard. They could not have done it better.
