  I booked the hotel mainly because of its proximity to the venue for a college reunion dinner. A spacious free carpark in the centre of Oxford was an added bonus. All the staff I encountered were friendly & helpful- nothing was too much trouble for them; from Reception staff, Waiting staff at breakfast and staff in The Boathouse. Please pass on my thanks. We met some Canadian cousins for the first time and it was a wonderful spot to meet up for lunch on the side of the Thames with them.   I found the experience relaxing - travelling with my son was easy and with the facilities in the leisure centre there was a good balance with going out and then relaxing and enjoying the spa. We drove for about 50mins from London and came to such a beautiful scenery and a serene location which looked like a resort out of England.   We booked this hotel instead of the Spreadeagle in Thame, and were very glad that we did. It had been a long drive down and we were both tired, and once we had sorted out our choice of room at reception entered into Room 129, a fair walk but well worth it. I had the bread, olives and hummus, and my partner the Goats cheese tartlet, - We had a very comfortable stay at the Oxfordshire. The staff were all friendly helpful and service good. The bed at the hotel was amazing so big and comfortable. The rooms are modern and cosy and were very clean! The food was very good service in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was a buffet style and was lovely really enjoyed it. The spa is also very nice - pool is book and sauna and steam both relaxing. Really nice hotel with wonderful golf course and close to Bicester village.
