  very spacious, lovely and clean, perfect for our needs, easy walking distance to town, able to keep parking permit for a few hours exra after check out. - Spacious, 2 room apartment plenty of space for family of 5 . Was a 10-15 minute walk to the Royal mile. Close to supermarket and food stores.

  Definitely best choice for Edinburgh. Have stayed at Balmoral 3 times already, and every time was an exceptionally pleasant experience. Love the superb location, warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellently polite and helpful staff, relaxing SPA area. Very close to train station and just a short walk to Royal mile and some other attractions.   We had a fabulous one night stay at The Chester Residence. Staff were very helpful and the suite was fantastic. All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. This was our first stay in a serviced appartment and we would highly recommend a stay here, beats ... o que as pessoas dizem » a stuffy hotel any day of the week! - The location was fairly close to the center of the city (20 minute walk). The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone and return to this hotel without a doubt.

  The apartment is spacious, located within 1.5 km of the castle (about a 15 min walk uphill). It is on a quiet street on the 4th floor (5th flr for Americans) with a view of the castle from the bedroom windows. The bedrooms get morning sun and the living area/kitchen gets afternoon sun. There is a lot of storage space available. - We liked the builidng design, facilities, furnishings, kitchen and bathroom facilities and location. Handy for Princes Street, Usher Hall, theatres and cinemas, but quiet too. Shops and restaurants nearby. Secure basement parking on site. Comfortable beds. Nice views of castle to rear and canal basin from lounge. Communal lobby and lift were clean too.
