Hotel Valentine is such a nice & great place to stay in Black pool. Situated in prime location. Only 5 minutes walk from Black pool north Rail station. Everything. The room was lovely, well appointed and cared for, the breakfasts were delicious! I had just found out that my painful 'sprain' was a broken leg(!) and they could not have been more kind and helpful - Nice welcome. Breakfast ordering service which ensured we were not kept waiting. A very good clean hotel and especially value for money. The owner was extremely helpful and the location in summer would be outstanding although busy as there is a caravan park next door. Loved every bit about this place. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, even the little extras provided such as shampoo, cup of tea on arrival, better than more upmarket places we have been at, food well prepared and reasonably priced, kids food needs met, good outside spaces and garden for kids to let off steam after a long drive, breakfast was yummy and generous.

At the last minute we were able to get a short break away so decided on Blackpool and the lights. The hotel is ideally situated to catch the tram into town or for a nice stroll. We could not wait until 9am for breakfast so were offered food to have in the room for breakfast - cereal and fresh fruit and a flask of milk.
The room was clean and tidy, hosts welcoming and answered any queries.

Rick and Kath are delightful hosts. We arrived after a nightmare journey - Rick was on the doorstep to welcome us, carried our bags from the car, recommended a fabulous local Indian restaurant and ordered the taxi to take us there! Unbelievably peaceful weekend break, especially given that we were but a few minutes' walk from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Lovely, clean room and superb breakfasts.
