All members of the staff all genuinely appeared to be happy in their roles. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and relaxing. It's the second time I've stayed there and I'm sure there'll be many more times as well. This time I spent a little longer in the hotel and used the bar, great to be able to look out over the football pitch.

Excellent Reception staff who really cared about the customers. Dinner was delicious, well presented and good value. Clean and well cared for facility. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location and beautiful setting the resort is in and being greeted by the ducks each morning. The lodges were well equipped and spacious. The meals in the bar/restaurant were reasonably priced and excellent quality, the chocolate fudge cake is to die for. Will definately return and recomend to friend

The foyer is a stunning tribute to the original design and the refurbishment. The room was beautifully designed if a little quirky, quiet and clean and the furnishings reflected the period. Dinner menu was a tad limited but well presented and served and up to 4* standard. The location was ideal for exploring Lancashire and the Lakes.
The provision of binoculars to maximise the sea view was a nice touch!

From the moment we entered the foyer nothing was too much trouble for the staff. This was a surprise birthday treat for my partner, which he utterly enjoyed. All the little extras made the trip extra special, waiters bringing drinks to table, courtesy car to restaurant and very attentive waiter service whilst relaxing have our beautiful meal was all very much apprepciated. We will be back again. Thank you
