Absolutely great hotel and staff. From the moment we walked in the front door and were met by Duncan, we were made to feel welcome.
Everyone was very polite and made our 2 nights very enjoyable.
The location is awesome and the views beautful.
The rooms are well decorated, clean and comfortable.

Large selection of good wines, which were favourably sampled and some very ve - Exceptional service by a friendly and professional staff, led by an equally friendly but extremely professional Manager and Manageress. Nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed a relaxed and comfortable week-end.The food was top quality and was prepared and served most professionally.The location of the hotel was ideal. We will definately be returning to this hotel, and look forward to doing so.

We received a very warm welcom on arrival at this small but beautiful hotel. The hotel room was finely decorated and warm. A particularly nice touch was a stem of red roses and heart shaped chocs that were on the bed when we entered our room - Valentines weekend. the hotel is spotless and we had a lovely breakfast, including a vegitarian option. -

Lovely location in residential area just one street back from promenade and less than 5 minute walk to Pleasure Beach. Owners friendly and very efficient. The foyer is a stunning tribute to the original design and the refurbishment. The room was beautifully designed if a little quirky, quiet and clean and the furnishings reflected the period. Dinner menu was a tad limited but well presented and served and up to 4* standard. The location was ideal for exploring Lancashire and the Lakes.
The provision of binoculars to maximise the sea view was a nice touch!
