  It was wonderful. The place itself was perfect, and it is run by the most accommodating, friendly couple (and their young boy, who proudly showed us to our room). Notably, having always felt imposing in family-run establishments, I found it refreshing to feel such a combination of privacy and service as I experienced at Sentry Mead. Most of all th... o que as pessoas dizem » ough, it's the place with the shortest walk to the sea in the area, and walking up the coastal road footpath to see the sunset is something you're lia - This was a second visit because we loved it so much the first time. Location is wonderful - quiet and peaceful with the lovely uncrowded beach at Totland easily accessible. Easy to get the bus from Yarmouth and to travel round the island. The hotel is extremely comfortable, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfasts are delicious - the best poached eggs ever- and the staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. Definitely the best of the many hotels we have stayed in on the Isle of Wight. W

  We stayed here 3 times in recent weeks with a sick relative in hospital on the island. The staff were exceptional, very caring, compassionate and helpful. The cottage was warm, spacious, very well equipped and had lovely comfy beds. It was quiet & well-situated for getting around the Island with bus stop and supermarket just outside. Just what... o que as pessoas dizem » we needed at the time. Thank you. - We loved the cottage, the cleanliness and facilities inside the cottage. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Fresh linen, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and a great ambience. W e would love to go back. Would highly recommend this place for families and even for couples. Great value for money. 5 stars for price, facilities and comfort.
