  Friendly, cosy, very handy for Aviemore centre which is a short walk away. Good kitchen facilities and TV room plus easy sitting type room. Would definitely use this hostel again if I were in the area.   I was traveling with my 5 years daughter, but when I booked the bed on line I only booked one bed and thought that when I was there I could book for my daughter. The staff arranged a private room for us which was very thoughtful and nice. People who are mature travelers or traveling with young children need more attentions and help, and Inverness Hostel se - We did not stay long, but the staff person there was extremely helpful. We arrived at 1 in the morning, and were easily able to get into our room. He also accommodated our need for an early breakfast the following morning, and he gave us a map with walking directions to the train station. Our room was spartan, as all youth hostel rooms are, but it was clean and comfortable. And the price, 22 pounds per person per night, could not be beat.

  great value couple of nights spent at the hostel with 4 very excited children who loved the adventure. Room was basic but clean which is all we wanted beds comfy wish we could have stayed longer location perfect will be back the chef was great and we ate there for 28 pound for 6 of us. big portions and kids ice cream was included.
