Warm and comfortable with everything we could want. Stayed in Silverdale which was large with a gorgeous bathroom and comfortable bed. The location was very attractive, the accomodation was immaculte, the pub food was really outstanding quality, and the beer in the bar was good. Also the atmosphere in the hotel lounge and bar was very pleasant. All the staff were obliging and helpful. Not many hotels offer this quality of accomodation and facilities. Only thing it would be short on is maybe leasure facility like pool\sauna but guess this would make it a Hotel rather than a pub. Most pleasant and relaxing break.

Mick was so hospitable and very friendly, I felt really welcome and didn't want to leave, it was a real 'home from home' so cosy and comfortable. The food is amazing and there's an extensive menu. Nothing is too much trouble and you are really well looked after. Great rooms with lovely views, very spacious and a fab shower plus loads of parking. A great place to stay whatever the season and whatever the weather! Loved it!

Lovely country inn with a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The public areas have a local, historic feel e.g. the downstairs bar still has the old stalls from horse drawn days; charming. The staff are friendly and efficient, the bar has a great selection of local beers and ales and the food is superb. Our room, while small, was extremely well appointed and comfortable, excellent en suite facilities with a super powerful shower, bliss.
