  The rooms were of a luxurious standard and spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was amazing and the plates and food were piping hot. The staff were very attentive and having a swimming pool was great!   The room had been recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. It was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. I was very impressed by the decor and layout of the room. The leisure facilities were a welcome bonus that one often does not get in a city centre hotel. The food in the bar was of a high standard and reasonably priced. The hotel's location was very central and the shopping centre was a stone's throw away. The room was of a very high standard and the stay was very pleasant. We are planning another visit to the thistle again in january. I would Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking fro somewhere central, comfortable and high class.
