Our stay at Chalmers was excellent and if we travel to the area again we will certainly use this Bed and Breakfast - the hosts were very friendly and gave us information relating to the area and how to get to different places - the brakfast was also excellent - just suited our need for an overnight stay - the owners were very helpful and friendly

I booked this hotel for someone else to stay. Unfortunatly this person was taken ill during her visit. The hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful, helped her in every way, visited her in hospital, and collected her when she was discharged. She has nothing but praise for the hotel and its staff - From the minute we arrived the welcome said it all

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Horizon. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. I thought the modern decor of the hotel was nice (considering it is an older hotel). The room was nice and clean. I would most definitely recommend it and the location is perfect. - Pleasant, helpful staff. Seafront location 5 mins from town

The staff were outstanding and I say that as someone who stays in hotels regularly. They looked after me incredibly well and made me feel welcome and I observed them doing the same for others. - lovely comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff have stayed at this hotel on three occasions now and each time have found the same friendly welcome
