  A friendly welcome and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean with a very nice bathroom featuring an excellent rainforest shower. The village is delightful and set amongst lovely countryside. It was a fine morning and we had breakfast outside on the sunny patio surrounded by flowers.   The Polstead Lodge is a home away from home. Exactly what we wanted, a comfortable room and a beautiful countryside setting away from the hustle and bustle of London. Dave and Maureen were fantastic hosts. We don't have a car and as Dave also drives a taxi, he picked us up from the station when we arrived and took us to a local pub each night f... o que as pessoas dizem » or dinner and only charged us for the station runs which was amazing! The breakfast was lovely, all local produce which was great. They also gave us - Maureen and Dave were very friendly,and it was a very relaxed and welcoming home,nothing was too much trouble for them,anything we wanted we just had to ask and we would certainly stay there again and would recommend them to our friends and family,it was a lovely bright room and you very much felt at home and easy....
