cheap, clean, perfectly situated for stumbling home from a gig, good breakfast.
Staying in the pub is always good. The secret garden is what makes it better.

Great location.
Normal room for affordable price, pretty clean, shared bathroom also clean. Pub on the ground floor, full english breakfast was good.
Location in centre of town, a small friendly pub. Good value for money. Good breakfast.
Staff, location, price and breakfast.
Convenient location, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite good for my purposes (can't comment on the cooked breakfast as I didn't eat it).
The pub part of the Crown and Anchor was great; friendly, fun and a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
the location is excellent only a few meters from piccadilly gardens and the central station.
Location. Friendly staff.
Nothing.
The hot water from the showers didn't work fine.
no en-suite but as an overnight stop off good value.
no ensuite, but bathroom still clean.
No complaints.
No toilet in the room.
there is no private toilet.
Bruyant (c'est un pub !).
Street lamp was just opposite the window, and tiny curtains barely could hide the light.
Kitchen was closed after 10 pm, so we were forced to look for some food outside after the game.
No parking and a shared bathroom isn't ideal but it wasn't a problem.
Room directly above bar noisy until closing time - then fine.
Very cold in the room.
Very expensive for accommodation with not-very-clean shared bathroom. Very noisy - no double glazing, city centre location and therefore very difficult to get to sleep. Radiator had leaked, leaving a really soaking wet patch on the carpet about 6' square - in such a position that it was impossible not to walk in it (not very nice in stockinged feet!). Room next to bathroom meant you heard the sound of the toilet flushing during the night.
Shared bathroom, uncomfortable beds, extremely noisy, poorly sealed window. I wouldn't stay here again but I would go to the pub if I was staying somewhere else.
there is no en suite bathroom and there was no hot water in the sink so to do the beard you have to use the kettle, back to the 50s sort of.
Noise from other guests. No need for a bedside lamp as the street light outside lit the whole room. Shared bathroom.
Facilities were very poor, room was dirty, in a very noisy location with
poor glazing so unable to block out noise. Would have cancelled but had
already paid and could not find alternative accommodation. Tables for
breakfast were cluttered and dirty, went to an alternative pub for
breakfast even though it was included in the price. Did not look like
images on the website - holes in walls, wallpaper peeling off, etc.
not good for family room was with a partition inside all junk material stored it was a nightmare spending the night there.
