The quirkiness; if you don't like quirky then don't stay here! The staff were young, helpful and keen to make our stay a pleasant one. We chose a room without a window which was fine for 1 night. We like the location being close by to the Old Street tube station and a
cab ride away to King's Cross and St Pancras stations. There is also
a direct bus 55 to Oxford Circus (25 mins ride). We love the modern
design of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. We like the novelty
of the 'paper bag' breakfast. I also appreciate the hotel
putting in the extra bed as requested (after a reminder when they forgot
to put it in when we checked but was quickly rectified!) The hotel staff

The Andaz is stylish but relaxed and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly cean in a areas. We were upgraded and a little birthday cake awaited us in our room for my husband's birthday. Requests were dealt with immediately and we even got a tour of the hotel as we were interested in the history and architecture. The location is ideal. Well done Andaz for making our stay so enjoyable.

I booked Hotel Indigo for my husband's 30th birthday and it really was ideal. We had hoped for a relaxing city break and that is what we got.
The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful and offered us a complimentary glass of wine and a turn-down service because it was hubby's birthday, which was lovely.
The hotel décor was modern and clean and the room (superior double) was well furnished, comfortable and stylish.

Location: Great!!! Within 10 minutes walk from Liverpool station when
figure out the way and actually another station Moorgate is just around
the corner. With marks and spender just opposite to the hotel, it makes
it more perfect! As can buy snacks / bottle water easily on our way
back to hotel. :)

A new Hotel, excellent location for our needs, a short walk to Aldgate East tube, the staff so friendly and helpful. We took a short taxi ride to Tower Pier and went on the Thames from Tower Bridge to Westminster. We loved Selfridges and had salty beef sandwiches at 'The Brass Rail Cafe' there. -

Superb hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Arrived early to leave my bags but was told there was a room available - not the best room but it was ready now. So I happily checked in and was taken to my room and shown a shortcut out rather than the maze through hotel. Room was slightly small but lovely. The front desk managed to get us rooms when we checked in at 10am after arriving straight from the airport. Another plus point was the close proximity to both Bank and Monument tube stations as well as Liverpool Street Station. There's a nearby Sainsbury and Tesco Metro stores for added convenience. It is true that the City was dead in the weekends
