This hotel is not perfect by any means however for £60.00 a night in central Chelsea im not sure what people expect, i think a lot of the 'bad reviews' on here are out of order considering the price of the hotel. the location is brilliant, couldnt expect anywhere closer for this price. -

Excellent location and a beautiful Double Studio with Kitchenette on the first floor. Our room was big enough for two persons far more bigger than other hotel rooms in the area. This was a very nice hotel. We stayed in an apartment type room which was nice because it had cooker hobs, microwave, toaster, fridge and freezer. Although we didn't avail of these facilities they would have been very useful if we stayed longer. The breakfast was nice - a continental breakfast. The hotel is very well situated. It is in a nice quiet area but just around the corner (Queeensway road) there are lots of places to eat. It is only a few stops away from Oxford street where there is gre

Location! A short walk across Kensington Park to the V&A Museum and
other great collections. Good tube connections to Queensway Station just
a few minutes walk away in a "safe" area of London. Good
shopping and eating locally or a couple of stops away on the tube. The
continental breakfast is simple but adequate with reasonable quality
product on offer. Despite my adverse comments I would short stay here
again. I have seen worse hotels in the area and the management of the
Troy should raise

We were "Upgraded" to another Grange Hotel on the opposite side of the road. BUCKINGHAM HOTEL. This was even better than the Lancaster. The `Ratings` shown above are in fact for this Hotel. The Buckingham Hotel. We will most certainly be making a return visit one day in the future. -

I love the size of the rooms and each time we have been the rooms have been spotlessly clean. The staff are all great - very helpful and polite - especially the lady who checked us in!! The kitchen facilities are good and it is great to have a fridge. Location is brill for central London. I can't fault this hotel. I love it. -

Well, very friendly, concerned staff. You can see that they really want
to please you. When I called them to say I couldn't arrive on time
and asked for a late check-in I had been told "no problem".
Another example is when I had to leave without getting the package I
ordered on the Internet (it was delivered late after my check out) one

then sent it to my next hotel for me on the next day. Also I liked the
location of this -
breakfast was simple but enough. They provided a cooked English breakfast (without sausage!) but toasts, some fruits, yogurt and cereal were self-service so it was quite nice. The room was small but tidy and comfortable. And the shared bathroom was clean and not crowded. I didn't wait to take a shower.

The receptionist were friendly and always smile when they saw us. We got
the basement rooms as we booked three rooms and requested for the rooms
to be closed to each other. I am happy that the hotel were able to
fulfill this request. We really love the modern design of the rooms.

I thought the staff were welcoming and helpful. The location was exceptional and the apartments were excellent value for money. I opted for an apartment because they were better value for money than a hotel. I will be visiting again sometime in the future and have advised people i know of 73 apartments. Many thanks, Jordan from leicester.
